Puzzling World Junior Challenge Wanaka

Come and see how much fun triathlon is at the first Puzzling World Junior Challenge Wanaka. Budding athletes aged between 6 and 15 are welcome and even if you've never done triathlon before, it doesn't matter; entries are open to teams and individuals. It's sure to be heaps of fun and everyone gets some goodies and is the running for some great spot prizes.

Swim the Course, Challenge Wanaka

Join international pro-athletes in their preparation for Challenge Wanaka. Swim the practice run with the athletes.
Where: Lake Wanaka foreshore
When: Registration from 6.00am, start at 7.00am
Cost: $5 for non athletes

The Hawea – Wanaka Ridge Ride will give competitors and recreational riders alike panoramic views of both lakes during the two events held on separate days which are also being used as a fundraiser for Hawea Flat Primary School. The 4wd track mapped out will have participants climbing over 1000 metres in altitude from 350 to 1380 metres, traversing the undulating tops of Glen Dene and then looping back down to the start/ finish area overlooking Lake Hawea.

The BIG EASY

An epic Mountain Bike ride for the whole family! We start up at the Snow Farm high in the Pisa mountains, gently traverse the undulating tops before a long down hill all the way back to Wanaka. This is a once a year opportunity to ride this trail through private lands.
